1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of SF City Parking's website (sfcitypark.com) and parking services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services
SF City Parking provides parking services in San Francisco, including:
- Daily parking at various garage locations
- Monthly parking subscriptions
- Property management services for buildings
- Hotel valet parking services
- Bus and commercial vehicle parking
- Corporate parking programs
3. Parking Terms and Conditions
Vehicle Requirements
- Vehicles must be properly registered and insured
- Vehicles must comply with our size restrictions (see Vehicle Policy)
- Oversized vehicles may incur additional fees
- Commercial vehicles require advance arrangements
Parking Rules
- Park only in designated spaces
- Do not block fire lanes, exits, or other vehicles
- Maximum speed limit: 5 mph in all facilities
- No overnight parking unless specifically authorized
- No storage of items in vehicles for extended periods
- No working on vehicles in parking facilities
Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited in our parking facilities:
- Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials
- Firearms or weapons (except by authorized personnel)
- Illegal substances
- Items that may damage vehicles or property
4. Payment Terms
Daily Parking
- Payment is due upon entry or exit as posted
- We accept cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- Lost tickets incur maximum daily rate
- No refunds for unused time
Monthly Parking
- Payment is processed through Square on the 1st of each month
- Prorated billing applies for mid-month starts (see pricing details)
- 30 days written notice required for cancellation
- No refunds for partial months
- Late payment may result in service suspension
Corporate Accounts
- Payment terms as agreed in corporate contract
- Volume discounts may apply
- Dedicated account management provided
5. Liability and Insurance
Limitation of Liability
PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK. SF City Parking is not responsible for:
- Theft, vandalism, or damage to vehicles or contents
- Personal injury or property damage
- Loss of use of vehicle
- Acts of nature, fire, or other uncontrollable events
Customer Responsibility
- Maintain adequate insurance coverage on your vehicle
- Lock your vehicle and secure valuables
- Report any incidents immediately to facility staff
- You are liable for any damage you cause to our property
Maximum Liability
In any event, our total liability shall not exceed the parking fees paid for the specific parking session or monthly period in question, up to a maximum of $500.
6. Vehicle Towing and Removal
We reserve the right to tow or remove vehicles in the following situations:
- Parking in violation of posted rules
- Abandonment (72+ hours without authorization)
- Blocking emergency access
- Non-payment of parking fees
- Vehicle poses safety hazard
All towing and storage fees are the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Monthly Parking Cancellation
- 30 days written notice required
- Notice must be submitted via email to info@sfcitypark.com
- Cancellation effective at end of current billing period
- No partial month refunds
Service Interruptions
If we must temporarily close a facility for maintenance or emergencies:
- We will provide advance notice when possible
- Alternative parking arrangements may be offered
- Credits may be provided for extended closures (7+ days)
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by SF City Parking and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
10. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate parking privileges for:
- Violation of these Terms and Conditions
- Disruptive or threatening behavior
- Non-payment of fees
- Vehicle safety concerns
- Any reason that may compromise safety or operations
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
Dispute Resolution
Before filing any legal action, parties agree to attempt resolution through:
- Direct communication with our customer service team
- Mediation through a mutually agreed mediator
- Binding arbitration if mediation fails
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labor strikes, or public health emergencies.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by:
- Posting updated Terms on our website
- Sending email notifications to monthly customers
- Posting notices at our facilities
Continued use of our services after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
